Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-09-16
DimeCalc is designed so that your financial information stays in your browser. This policy explains what that means in practice.
1. We do not collect your calculator inputs
Salary, debt balances, income, dates, or any other value you enter into a calculator never leaves your device. All calculations are performed locally via client-side JavaScript. There is no backend, no database of user inputs, and nothing to hack.
2. What we do collect (minimal, technical only)
- Analytics: aggregate page-view counts and approximate country/language via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is cookieless, privacy-preserving web analytics; no personal identifiers.
- Advertising: a third-party ad network (Google AdSense when live) may set cookies to serve relevant ads. These are governed by the ad network's own policies and may include standard advertising identifiers.
- Standard server/edge logs: IP addresses pass through Cloudflare's edge for security and rate-limiting; these are not correlated with calculator inputs and are not used for marketing.
3. Cookies & ads
We do not use advertising cookies for cross-site tracking by default. When advertising is enabled, users in the EU/EEA/UK will see a consent notice per GDPR/ePrivacy requirements. You can always block third-party cookies in your browser.
4. Your data, your control
Because we hold no personal data, there is no data to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. If you have questions, contact us and we'll confirm there's nothing stored.
5. Changes
We'll update this page when practices change. Material changes will be dated above.
